So remember how I said I would be back to regular updates?
Well, my router promptly stopped working the day or so before my trip to Taiwan, and I only just got it fixed two days ago, oops haha.
What happened is that the company, when they installed my router, apparently didn't get/keep any of my personal information. Some company policy changed, and because they didn't have a copy of my passport (in place of the usual Chinese ID card) they cut off service. I found this out when a co-worker graciously called the company for me and tried to check my account, but the company didn't recognize my passport number, so she told me I had to go in person to an office to give them my ID.
However, the office I went to twice apparently couldn't get everything straightened out, so the THIRD time, I went to a larger office (really far from my house, practically across the border in Hong Kong) and they got me all sorted.
So I'm glad that's over, and hopefully for real this time I can start updating on all the things that have happened in my life!!! There are so many!!! I have so many photos!!!!!!!!
